Program highlights

HealthScienceThis cluster includes planning, managing, and providing therapeutic services, diagnostic services, health informatics, support services, and/or biotechnology research and development. This cluster allows students to investigate and observe a large variety of health care areas.

Students learn skills related to the health care industry such as taking vital signs, body mechanics, medical terminology, CPR and other entry level skills.

Clinical rotation and practicum courses allow students the opportunity to apply previously studied knowledge and skills at a local health care facility. Students will participate in job shadowing opportunities with our local hospitals and pharmacies.

Background check and additional immunizations may be required by our partnering healthcare facilities. Some courses require an application and acceptance into the program.
