A lifetime of service…. It takes a special kind of person to work in Human Services. If you feel a calling to service your fellow men and women, feel comfortable caring for people, or want to improve your community, then Human Services could be the right cluster for you.
Courses focus on interpersonal skills, decision-making, developing positive relationships with peers and family and child development. Students can also study nutrition and wellness, food selection, and preparation.
Students have the opportunity to learn a skill in a classroom/laboratory equipped to emulate industry or through a paid work experience in a related Human Services career.
Some courses require an application and acceptance into the program.
One of the best ways to acquire experience in your chosen career is by joining a Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO).
