McAllen ISD utilizes Public Purchase, an online e-procurement system which allows vendors to streamline the bidding process.
Prior to viewing and/or responding to bid opportunities, you will need to complete your registration and create a vendor profile. Please use the following link: https://www.publicpurchase.com
Where you can find:
- Online Vendor Registration – to be added to our mailing list informing your business of upcoming bid opportunities
- Bid Notices – Current bids may be downloaded online
Additionally, you may find our Bid Notices in The Monitor, primarily on Wednesdays and occasionally on Sundays.
To start the Online Vendor Registration process you may register with Public Purchase by selecting the link in the center “Register” (below “Register to become a vendor”). You will receive an email from Public Purchase to complete the process. Be sure and add this email address to your contacts to avoid the bid notification emails being sent to your junk folder.
Note that the registration process may take up to 24 hours.
Be sure to select as many NIGP Commodity Codes that relate to your business so you can receive email notifications of future bid opportunities.
