AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN

American Rescue Plan (ARP)

ESSER III

Attention McAllen ISD Community members

The American Rescue Plan signed into law in March included $122 billion in Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) funds for school districts across the country. This is the single largest federal investment in elementary and secondary education in the nation's history. McAllen ISD will apply to receive some of that additional funding. McAllen ISD's ESSER Master Plan is available for review at the following link: https://5il.co/um4w

ESSER II:

The Coronavirus Response & Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act (CRRSA – ESSER II) was signed into law on December 27, 2020, providing an additional $54.3 billion in Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief fund (ESSER II Fund).

TCLAS:

Texas COVID Learning Acceleration Supports (TCLAS) is a set of funding and targeted supports available to Local Education Agencies (LEAs) to accelerate student learning in the wake of COVID-19, utilizing state and federal funds.
