Focus Area 5: Extra-Curricular Educational Programs
McAllen ISD excels in the Extra-Curricular Educational Programs that are offered to our students. We have a wide variety of programs that are available and incredible staff that will assist in the journey to make your child a CHAMPION both now and in the future. We believe that creating Well-Balanced Individuals involved in many activities leads to a very bright future and sets them up for success.
Districtwide we offer many extra-curricular athletic, fine arts, career & technical education, academic UIL, chess and robotics opportunities. Several of these groups have advanced to State and National competitions and our students are awarded at a very high rate.
