Congratulations to Manaali Lambat from Gonzalez Elementary. She won the annual McAllen ISD Spelling Bee held virtually on February 5, 2021.
Lambat, along with 1st Alternate Jie Laboriante of Garza Elementary and 2nd Alternate Alondra Gonzalez of Sam Houston Elementary, qualified for the Regional Bee on March 6.
After multiple rounds, Lambat successfully spelled the winning word "testosterone."
