We’re proud to continue our partnership with the McAllen ISD and the Stars Scholarship Fund to support students from the Class of 2026 on their college journey. 🌟
The 2026–2027 Stars Scholarship application cycle is now open, and we’re excited to help eligible seniors take the next step toward higher education.
✅ Eligibility Highlights:
• Must be a high school senior graduating in 2026
• Completed at least 12 college hours through dual enrollment or AP courses
• Earned a minimum 2.7 GPA in those college hours
📅 Application Deadline: March 31, 2026, at 5pm CST

During Holocaust Remembrance Week, McAllen ISD stands in solemn reflection to honor the millions who perished and reaffirms its commitment to education that fosters understanding, tolerance, and compassion.

The weather for tomorrow, Tuesday, January 27, 2026, is forecast to be the same with temperatures below freezing in the early morning hours. Therefore, McAllen ISD will delay start of instruction and bus services by one hour.

Staff should report at their regular scheduled time.

For families who need to drop off students at the regular time, campuses will be open as scheduled to accommodate early arrival. Please check your campus website or social media pages for details on any special winter day celebrations taking place.
