McAllen ISD’s Special Education Department received the UTRGV Community Partners Recognition Award from the College of Health Professions! We are honored to be recognized for our ongoing collaboration and partnership, which was also highlighted in UTRGV’s Carnegie Elective Classification for Community Engagement. Together, we are creating meaningful opportunities for our students and community.

Congratulations to our campuses honored with the 2025 CREST Counseling Award! 🌟The Texas School Counselor Association has named them Texas Model Programs, and we couldn’t be prouder. Our McAllen ISD counselors are truly ALL IN!

We encourage any families needing support with food, clothing, or other accommodations as we approach Thanksgiving Break to please reach out to their campus social worker this week.
