📢 Big news for our schools! The McAllen ISD Board of Trustees has called for a $335 million bond election on May 2, 2026. To keep the voting process straightforward, the entire $335 million proposal will appear as one single proposition on the ballot. Incoming 9th graders—both in-district and out-of-district—can now apply to McAllen ISD’s P-TECH program! Choose from Electrician Technology or Construction Supervision and gain real-world experience while you learn.

Students can earn a Level One Certification, industry-recognized credentials, and take part in hands-on, work-based learning that leads to internships and career opportunities.
