The letters were heartfelt. The surprise was unforgettable. 🍎 Our teachers thought they were only opening letters from their students for a Teacher Appreciation feature. Instead, they discovered they were also selected for the state's Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) designation — a recognition of the incredible impact they make in the classroom every single day. This year, McAllen ISD proudly celebrates 581 designated teachers out of 1,250 eligible educators, recognizing the incredible impact they make in the classroom and in the lives of our students every day. Thank you for inspiring, leading, and changing lives. Your dedication to our students does not go unnoticed.
